     Violette was born on Telmun. At age 18 she signed on with a merchant crew, where she learned the ins and outs of vacuum suits, (Vacc Suit-1). Cargo handling increased her muscle mass (+1 STR). Having to deal with local customs officials taught her some ways to expedite matters and speculative trading taught her how to negotiate a deal, (Bribery-1). (Term 1)

    4th Officer Bomba spent considerable time in vacc suits over the next eight years (Vacc Suit-3). (Terms 2 and 3).

    Several incidents aboard ship and dirtside, required her to fight in close quarters, and she picked up some skill in close combat, (Blade-1). After picking up a nasty bug which devastated her immune system and left her weak as a kitten (Ageing: -1 DEX, -1 END), she spent her entire life savings on a custom Vacc Suit, to provide her both protection and mobility. (Term 4)

    She stuck it out for another term of service, in order to get at least a small pension. During the term she became acquainted with starship weaponry and helped to defend her ship on several occasions, (Gunnery-1). However she realised her dependence on the suit was not an ideal situation and therefore resolved to retire at the end of the term, in order to seek an alternative solution to her health issues. (Term 5)

   Violette has spent all her savings on a special Vacc Suit, to protect her fragile immune system and provide much needed mobility, (see below). She has learned a lot about merchant shipping, trading amongst the stars, and a broad knowledge of the worlds in The Void subsector (+1 EDU). She's also acquired a Blade at some point, which she likes to wear in a scabbard on her belt. The Merchant Line issued her a Low Passage ticket and a card with which she could claim her retirement pay at any class A or B starport.

    Violette can be found at any starport (except Class E or X). Violette wears a custom-made Vacc Suit, all the time. She is seeking to travel and explore, her stated goal is to find an alternative to the suit that she wears at all times. She will ask for a few special considerations; such as self-contained and sealed quarters with a decontamination airlock installed, so she can remove her suit at night.

     Referee: Her vacc suit has all the features of a standard Vacc Suit, but weighs almost nothing, has a built in medkit and medical diagnostic computer, and a lightweight powered exoskeleton.. It provides less protection and is therefore treated as Cloth +1, the powered exoskeleton provides Violette with END-15 for the purposes of number of blows in combat. The suit protects her from all the things her shattered immune system cannot and provides her with the necessary endurance to be independently mobile. She hopes to find a way to boost her immune system and increase her endurance, so that she no longer has to rely on the suit.
