Caught Up, Finally
The second part of my GZG order included most of the new sculpts that came out last month. I placed this order within the time frame Jon laid down for a purchasers to receive bonus SAW gunners in each pack, increasing the packs from eight to ten figures.
Beginning with the OutRim Coalition (ORC) Hardsuit Troops these guys are equipped with the latest tech and wear fully enclosed armour. Very detailed and nice figures.
Next up is the Islamic Federation (IF) these guys are clearly very different from the Neo-Arabs I bought from Khurasan because GZGs IF selection was somewhat limited. I'm glad the range is being expanded. I can either use the two as different types of troops or as entirely different factions.
The final part of the order included two packs of Eurasian Solar Union (ESU) Naval Infantry and one pack of ESU 'Black Bear' Power Armour. These are nice sculpts, with good detail and according to Jon there's more on the way. I've also ordered some Brigade Models Neo-Soviets, which might make suitable standard troops supported by these Naval Infantry or as the primary force of an entirely different faction. We'll see what how they compare when they arrive.
Five Alpha, out.

Obviously I find these figures less 'human' because of their full face helmets.

Nice sculpts, lots of detail, wide visored helmets,
Posed with Khurasan's Neo-Arabs (number two and four). Clearly different, (weapons, armour, uniforms and size), so they can't really be merged into a single force, but could be used as distinct forces within a faction.
Next up were the New Swabian League (NSL) Jägers, these guys are the NSL light infantry. Two new packs were released last month, Rifle pack A and B. As light infantry they wear far less body armour, although the weaponry is the same. These will be my front line NSB troops, backed up by the Panzergrenadiers.
Nice sculpts. The light doesn't do them justice. I should have given them a wash first to bring out the detail.
Ditto.

Rifle pack A with the two bonus SAW Gunners
Rifle pack B with the two bonus SAW Gunners
Black Bear Power Armour, some assembly required.
Jon sent an email to me and presumably others concerning a possible mix up with the PA arms, being for the right side rather than left side. My vision is not the best but even through a magnifying glass I couldn't see any difference in the two sprues, but we'll see when I assemble them whether there's a problem.
Besides that these figures are very nicely sculpted, and are apparently the beginning of the ranges expansion. so keep your eyes open, there are some new sculpts ready to be released in the next day or two.
Five Alpha, out.
