#6 Arryne Prodgers 5BAA45 ex-Army Private Age 22 1 Term
Skills: Laser Rifle-1, Blade-1
Benefits: High Psg
Arryne like all Cepheians is tall and lean of build, and has spent nearly all of his life in a low gravity environment (STR-5). As a child Arryne played a lot of low gravity sports (DEX-B and END-A), and while he was considered to be rather smart (INT-A)
he spent far too much time on sports and holo-games to focus on his
studies. So much so that he seemed to have very limited knowledge of
anything outside sports or gaming (EDU-3).
Arryne didn’t really want a career, he just wanted to continue playing
sports and gaming, however his parents insisted that he find himself a
career. A friend of his was planning to sign up for the army, so Arryne
decided to go and apply with her. As it turned out Arryne was exactly
what the Cepheian Defense Force (CDF) was looking for and he was
accepted immediately. Unfortunately the army wasn’t exactly what Arryne
was looking for. He served one term only. Undergoing basic training (Laser Rifle-1 and Blade-1) and a compulsory education course (+1 EDU).
His military service was uneventful, and while it did give him a
taste for action, he found the discipline and regulations to be somewhat
difficult to adapt to. He made a token effort to reenlist, to please
his parents, but didn’t follow through on the application.
Referee: Arryne is at a loose end when the party meets him; he’s just
left the service, has no desire to return home and is willing to take a
chance on something exciting, (those uneventful times mentioned above).
Arryne is rather inexperienced and his general knowledge is quite
limited, however his knowledge of low gravity sports and holo-games is
phenomenal (the equivalent of EDU-C). The CDF equips it’s troops with laser weapons and blades for work in low/zero gravity vacuum environments. (All
Cepheians are tall, most average about 2.0 metres tall although they
tend to mass the same as a human from a normal 1G environment. You may
wish to impose a -1 to STR for Cepheians).
