W3I: Sword Worlders for Tomorrow's War

This was an old draft from when I was working on using my miniatures in the OTU. I thought I should post it, to get it out of the way, as well as make it available for those TW players interested in the OTU.

I have a lot of GZG Neu Swabian League miniatures so it makes sense to use them somewhere significant IMTU.
Lacking any Scandinavian type forces to represent the Sword Worlds, the next best thing would be to use the Germanic NSL.

The Stargrunt II write up of the NSL lists amongst their equipment the following gear and weapons:
Advanced Combat Rifles (ACR) ABW TL10
Rotary Machineguns (Minigun) ABW
Portable Plasma Guns (PGMP-12) EWS TL12
PGMLs
Laser Sniper Rifles (Laser Rifle) LWS TL9
Armoured Combat Suits (Combat Armour) Hard Armour TL12

Power Armour (Battledress) Power Armour TL13
Hover APC's
The Panzergrenadier figures include an undocumented:
Heavy Anti-Materiel Rifle (LAG) Heavy Sniper Rifle ABW

Looking at the Sword Worlds and their different tech levels, we can make some decisions about what forces can be supplied by which worlds.
The tech levels listed above are Traveller TL at which these technologies are standard, and therefore equal to TW TL2.

Sword Worlds equipment is rugged and solid and usually portrayed as bulky.
We can use personal armour as a guide, because Sword Worlds Power Armour is meant to be lower tech than Imperial models. Since the highest tech level in the Sword Worlds is 12 at Gram and Sacnoth. We can state that these two worlds are capable of manufacturing early Battledress, big chunky TL12 Power Armour suits, exactly the sort sculpted for the NSL range.

With this in mind, we can state that worlds at the listed TL for a type of equipment equip their troops with that equipment as standard. At one TL less they can produce an early version and/or produce small quantities for special forces.
So let's start at the top and work our way down listing the NSL figures used to represent Confederation Forces:
TL12 Gram and Sacnoth use NSL Power Armour (Special Forces), NSL Panzergrenadiers (Regular Forces) and NSL Jägers (Reserve Forces). Ballistic weapons are treated as ABWs. PGMPs are a standard support weapon.
TL11 Durendal, Colada, Anduril and Entrope use NSL Panzergrenadiers (Special Forces), NSL Jägers (Regular Forces and Reserves). Treat ballistic weapons as ABWs. No PGMP's unless procured from Gram or Sacnoth.
TL10 Narsil, Joyeuse, Tizon, Beater, Hofud, Sting, Orcrist, Excalibur, Tyrfing, Biter and Mjolnir use NSL Jägers (Special, Regular and Reserve Forces). Treat ballistic weapons as ABWs
TL9 Hrunting uses NSL Jägers (Special, Regular and Reserve Forces). Special Forces have ABWs while Regular and Reserve forces use TSTs.
TL8 Gungnir and Anselhome use NSL Jägers (Special, Regular and Reserve Forces). All ballistic weapons are TSTs.
