   Amarià is an Astartean, which means she's human, but has blue skin. Some Astarteans leave their homeworld to seek a destiny among the stars. Amarià is one of these expat Astarteans. She signed up with a Cepheian Navy ship when it visited Astarte. 

    In addition to her basic training, she also underwent a rapid technology acclimation course, where she acquired the education and knowledge to enable her to cope with the higher technology employed by the Cepheian Navy (EDU A). After her initial training, she was trained as a commtech (Electronics-1) and received additional training as the ships reserve Ship's Boat pilot (Ship's Boat-1).

    During her second term of service, she was instructed in and qualified as a Forward Observer (Fwd Obs-1). Thereafter she was assigned to the Marine squad on her ship as their forward observer, directing the ships gun fire in support of the squad's dirtside missions.

     At the end of her 2nd Term the Navy rejected her re-enlistment application, apparently due to a crackdown on offworld recruitment. Although she is certain it was due to her refusal to accept a posting as a high ranking officers personal aide. Given the officer's reputation amongst the lower ranks, it was likely to be a little too personal for Amarià's taste. The resulting backlash led to her being dropped at the next port of call, with a measly Cr5,000 in her pocket.

    She's currently hanging around the starport looking for a new ship to crew for, not necessarily a Navy ship.

Referee:  As mentioned above Amarià is Astartean and she has blue skin. She comes from a low tech world, but they do have contact with offworld cultures. She joined the navy and learned to use higher technology. She also put up with some level of discrimination and harassment, while she served. So while she did enjoy her navy service, she didn't enjoy all of it and has a few grudges against some of her crewmates and superior officer(s). 

    She's not sure she could return to Astarte, she's worried she might not be able to go back to such a low tech existence. 

    She may be encountered at any class A, B, or C starport rimward of the Void.
