     At age 18 Inna joined the Peoples Planetary Guard (PPG), she underwent basic training (Rifle-1), at the end of which she chose to enter the engineering stream and completed a comprehensive course in mechanics (Mechanical-1). Her instructors selected her for Officer Candidate School (Commissioned: Lieutenant). She completed her OCS training (SMG-1 and Tactics-1) and was then posted to command a platoon of new recruits. During this posting she learned to operate the new imported Air/Rafts (Air/Raft-1).

    Reenlisting for a second term she took advantage of the PPG's education courses (+1 EDU). Her diligence saw her gain a promotion to Captain, whereupon she was posted to a hover tank unit. Here she was introduced to the rather exciting pastime of hover-racing, which quickly became her major extracurricular activity of choice (Hovercraft-1).

    Signing up for a third term, Captain Stogova remained in her current posting. She enjoyed the posting, particularly the hover-racing. But the PPG soon took it all away by promoting her to Major and posting her to an artillery unit, where she was placed in command of the Forward Observer detachment. She did her best to understand the detachments role and he role within it (Forward Observer-1). Without the hover-racing scene, she needed something else to keep her occupied, some of the men and officers were gym junkies, they seemed friendly enough, so she accepted their invitation to join them (+1 STR).

    Looking for a promotion to Lt. Colonel, Inna re-enlisted and was rewarded with the promotion she sought. With her new rank she found herself invited to card nights in the officers mess, she actually became quite good at it, winning more often than not (Gambling-1). Naturally she received fewer and fewer invitations to play, so she started looking for something else to fill her spare time. Looking into the possibility of starting up a hover-racing scene here, she found something better. The military had just recently acquired a new type of Air/Raft from Morthra. Called Speeders, from what she could learn they were incredibly fast and needed considerable skill to handle; so much so that Morthra had sent instructors with them to provide the necessary training to handle them. Lt. Colonel Stogova used her rank and forgot certain IOUs in order to be included in the training program, she applied herself and rapidly gained a reputation for daring manoeuvres (Air/Raft-2). She'd finally found it, the thing that made her feel alive while she was doing it. After a particularly thrilling ride, she sometimes allowed herself to feel way too alive, with one of the Morthran instructors. Unfortunately this instructor was accused of spying for Morthran security. The investigation uncovered the relationship she had with Inna. Lt. Colonel Inna Stogova was accused and charged with treason. Luckily her assigned lawyer turned out to be surprisingly good and had the charges dropped, but that wasn't enough to save Inna's career. The PPG needed to punish her, but they couldn't discharge her; however they could simply refuse to accept her re-enlistment. She was issued a Cr 25,000 and a High Passage ticket with a stern suggestion that she use the ticket (Mustering Out: Cash and Benefits rolls). 

    The Novy Rodina media is having a field day with the incident; While not specifically stating that she is a traitor to her world, the implication is being made very clear in the spin their putting on the story. So effective is this media campaign that she cannot show her face anywhere without people abusing her, some even threatening violence. Since even her family believe the hype and have disowned her, she has nowhere to go; And that is why ex-Lt. Colonel Inna Stogova is currently standing in the starport, ready to bite someone's head off if they even look at her wrong.

    Inna has never been off world, but has some knowledge of the wider subsector, through education and personal contact with offworld visitors. She's not happy about leaving, but doesn't see any other choice. As yet she has not decided where she will go or what she will do.
