    Parov joined the Indid army when he was old enough, he underwent basic training (Rifle-1) and then posted to a unit where he was put in the role of section gunner (Auto Rifle-1). A few years later he was sent to Officer Candidate School, where he successfully completed the training and graduated as a Lieutenant (SMG-1 and Air/raft-1).

    Over the next four years (Term 2) Parov was to undertake extra curricular education (+1 EDU) and was later promoted to Captain and thereafter spent a few years in command during the border war where he learned how to lead men effectively in combat (Leader-1).

    Parov mustered out and returned home at the end of the war, only to find his home had been destroyed. Most of his family were killed in the bombing, the only survivor was his youngest sister, who was now staying with his aunt and uncle. While he appreciated them looking after her, he never really got on with them and couldn't stay with them. Therefore he headed for the starport, where he is currently awaiting an opportunity to leave Indid behind him.

Referee:  Parov is still somewhat traumatised by the loss of his family. He's angry that he wasn't notified of their deaths and had to find out the way he did. He feels guilty that he wasn't there for his sister. He can't stand his aunt and uncle, so much so that he cannot stay with them, yet he also feels guilty about leaving/abandoning his sister, again. But he needs to get away for a time.
