As soon as he was old enough Sander signed on with the first Navy ship to arrive in system. There are two rival navies operating in this region, and this particular ship belonged to the Indid Navy. Sander found that the Indid navy did not really need him for shipboard duties and after his first trip off world, he found himself grounded at the Indid Naval Base, where he was given an administrative job, (Admin-1). His dress uniform included a ceremonial dagger, and he was instructed in its proper use (Dagger-1); the Navy prefers not to use firearms inside its shiny starships. As part of his duties on base he was expected to take part in security patrols and guard duties, these duties required he be armed, therefore he was instructed in the use of the navies standard sidearm (Revolver-1).
When not on duty, Sander tended to be a bit of a recluse, enjoying quiet pastimes, he found considerable joy in reading various philosophical works and enjoyed games like Chess and Go (Mustering out: +1 INT). His tendency to stay in allowed him to put aside a fair amount of his pay (Mustering out: Cr50,000).
Sanders time in the Indid Navy was short, only serving two terms Sander mustered out on Indid, resolving to explore the galaxy a bit before returning home, he has been working passage around region and seeing the wonders of The Void.

Referee: Sander is a wanderer, taking passage wherever the ships will take him. He prefers to work for passage, rather than dip into his savings, but will sometimes pay for passage when he has available funds. He's interested in exploring the galaxy, or at least this little portion of it. So he will readily join a ships crew, for a few jumps, just to see a few new worlds. He can be found at almost any starport within the subsector.
